CM gifts projects worth Rs 465.14 Crore to residents of Giridih, Dhanbad districts

Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren today gifted projects worth Rs 465.14 Crore to residents of Giridih, Dhanbad districts and distributes assets among 13.06 lakh beneficiaries worth Rs 639.16 Crore at the "Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar" program organized at Kailudih ground under Gandey block of Giridih district.

On the occasion, the CM said that the previous government deprived most of the eligible people here from the pension scheme. Earlier, only a few selected elderly people, disabled people and widowed mothers and sisters of the village were able to get pension amount, but now your government has made such a law that now all the elderly people in the village are getting pension. Today, all the eligible people including every disabled person and widowed mothers and sisters are getting pension amount on time under the Sarvajan Pension Scheme. The result is that now all the eligible people have been covered under the pension scheme under social security.

He said that today his government has waived agricultural loan of the farmers, the outstanding electricity bill of the poor is being waived, electricity consumers are getting 200 units of electricity free. Schools were built on the lines of private schools for the children to study. Keeping in mind the bright future of the children in the state, Chief Minister Utkrishta Vidyalayas are being established. Today his government is working with commitment to provide quality education to the children of poor, tribal, indigenous, Dalit, exploited, backward, minority.

Soren said that his government has tried to give some benefit to the employees of many different government departments including Anganwadi Sahayika, Sevika, Cook, Policeman, Assistant Policeman, Para Teacher, Jal Sahaiya by solving their problems. The Chief Minister said that many such decisions and works in the interest of the state have been done by the state government which have happened for the first time in the country. Today other states are imitating the work done in Jharkhand.

The CM said that schemes like Savitribai Phule Samridhi Yojana and Guruji Credit Card are being run, focusing on a good education system for the coming generation of the state. He said that now daughters are not a burden, but all of you are requested to provide higher education to your daughters. Now the state government will help you in all things including education, marriage of the daughters of the state. Education loan up to Rs 15 lakh will be given by the bank through Guruji Student Credit Card. You do not need to keep any guarantee with the bank in return for this, the state government is becoming your guarantor.

Soren said that the state government is making arrangements for free food in the hostels of all the tribal and minority class children of the state so that the children can pay more attention to their studies.

The CM said that four lakh women of Giridih have benefited from the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana. Now, girls aged 18 to 20 years will also get the benefit of this scheme. This scheme is a continuous scheme. He said that it has been the priority of the state government to make half of the state's population move forward strongly in every field. The role of women here is important in the development of the state. Our government is putting emphasis on ensuring that the women of the state will help in giving a new direction to Jharkhand by walking hand in hand with the state government in every field.

The Chief Minister said that more than 50 lakh women in the state are being benefited from the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana. On this occasion, Ministers Satyanand Bhokta, Baby Devi, Irfan Ansari, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed, MLAs Mathura Prasad Mahato, Sudibya Kumar Sonu, Kalpana Soren, former MLA Nizamuddin Ansari and Deputy Commissioner and Senior Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Police of Giridih and Dhanbad districts and other officials were present.
