It is worth mentioning here that the Union Education Ministry has announced the names of 50 teachers nationwide for this award. Each awardee will receive Rs 50,000 in cash, a silver medal and a certificate of recognition.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has actively encouraged innovative teaching methods in the state’s education sector. His efforts include promoting online education in council schools and making curricula available through various apps.

Besides, teachers who adopt new and creative teaching techniques are recognised and promoted as role models to inspire their peers.

Shyam Prakash Maurya, a teacher at Upper Primary School in Malhurpur, Mandhata block, Pratapgarh district, uses PowerPoint presentations and modern technology through projectors to teach council school students in a way that makes learning easy and engaging.

In 2022, he established an online group to motivate students across the district to participate in the National Income-Based Examination. As a result, 785 students have been selected for scholarships totaling Rs 3.76 crore.

Similarly, Ravikant Dwivedi, the headmaster of Primary School Bhagesar in Mirzapur, gained popularity for his innovative ‘Mathematics Garden’. He has introduced various modern technologies, including the Maths Garden and digital classrooms, to provide excellent education to his students.
