Two persons were killed in Mathura road mishap

Two persons were killed in different two incidents of road mishaps in Mathura district on Sunday. According to reports, three persons, including a woman, were killed and another injured when the vehicle in which they were traveling fell into a canal in Kosi Kalan police station area on Sunday.

The victims were returning home to Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, after paying obeisance to Bankey Behari Ji Maharaj when the mishap occurred.

People rushed to the spot and made efforts to save them, police said, adding that one injured had been admitted to the hospital and is stated to be serious.

The deceased have been identified as Hitendra (28), lovely (15) and Hemlata (60) of Haryana. Meanwhile, 35 workers were trapped and injured when shuttering of an under-construction roof of a factory collapsed in Kursi road area in Barabanki on Saturday night.

The incident occurred when the shuttering of the roof of Shri Sai Food Production Company collapsed, trapping 35 workers under the debris. 33 workers were rescued from the debris with the help of heavy machines and were taken to a nearby hospital, where condition of 20 workers was stated to be serious.

Rescue operation was on to pull out two more workers feared trapped in the debris.District Magistrate Yogeshwar Ram said that it was still to be ascertained what led to the incident. He said that sub-divisional magistrate, Fatehpur, has been sent to the spot to investigate the incident.  Arrested 

A 20-years-old youth was arrested for raping and murdering his cousin sister in Visheshwarganj area in Bahraich on Saturday. The girl was raped by her cousin brother Krishna Mohan Shukla alias Munna (20) on Thursday when she had gone to collect mangoes from an orchard. When she did not return, her family went on to search her. later she was found dead in a nearby cane field.

Working in the case the cops find role of victim cousin Shukla as dubious and held him. He owned up his was crime and was arrested on Saturday for the rape and murder of his 11-year-old cousin sister.
