Annual health checkup of all contract labourers in the Talcher Thermal Power Station began on Sunday.
The programme was inaugurated by TTPS GGM DN Tiwary in the presence of Arindam Sinha , GM (O&M), CMO of Ashalok Hospital Dr Ranjita Sahoo and other HODs.
Around 1,400 workers would avail this facility. The programme would continue for 10 days. This year, the health checkup is being done engaging the MAYA Hospital, which has a sophisticated mobile health checkup unit with different facilities. The health checkup camp includes ECG, X-Ray, total blood test, audiometry, spirometry, eye checkup and body checkup.
GGM Tiwary in his inaugural speech said the objective of the total health checkup camp is to care and share the health conditions of the periphery villages around the TTPS. The TTPS is a always for an all-around development of the locality.
