Tuesday, 10 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

TPC Area Commander Muneshwar Ganjhu surrendered before Ranchi Police on Monday. Muneshwar Ganjhu surrendered in the SSP office in front of Ranchi SSP Chandan Sinha and CRPF officials.

Muneshwar is originally a resident of Damaru village of Keredari police station area of Hazaribagh district. A total of 26 cases are registered against him in different police stations of Ranchi, Hazaribagh and Chatra districts. Muneshwar surrendered before the police after being influenced by the surrender policy of the Jharkhand government. He was involved in many criminal incidents.

Muneshwar said that the TPC organization is engaged in levy collection and exploitation. This party is no longer talking about justice and injustice. "The top leaders of this party only want levy money. The top Naxal commanders of the TPC organization instruct the lower commanders to exploit and do things against the principles and to unnecessarily harass the villagers of the area for levy. Frustrated by the harassment of the villagers by the Naxalites, they are surrendering before the police to live a normal life with their families," he said.

Muneshwar has appealed to his other Naxal comrades to also lay down their arms and surrender before the police by taking advantage of the surrender and rehabilitation policy of the Jharkhand government.
