Teenage couple who entered into wedding lock against the wish of girl’s family members were brutally hacked to death in Hapur on Saturday morning while another teenage lovers reportedly committed suicide after facing opposition from their family members in Bahraich.

According to reports from Hapur, Danista, a native of Kudesar Chopra under Babugarh police station, was reportedly in love with her neightbour Sonu, despite of opposition of her family members. About four months back, Danista and Sonu eloped and reportedly married in court. They later returned home.

The matter took an ugly turn when Danista again slipped out of her house to meet Sonu on Friday night and returned on Saturday morning. Subsequently,  after hurling abuses on Danista for daring to marry against their wish, her brother Talib, Asif, and Tasleem, along with their kin identified as Amirul, brutally hacked Danista to death. When Sonu, who was next-door neighbour came to his wife’s rescue, the accused also hacked him to death and escaped. local police who reached  the spot after getting information from neighbours, had registered a case and launched a hunt for Danista’s family members. 

In Bahraich, 15-year-old Buggi, a resident of Chitraiya hamlet of Rupiyadiha was in love with her neighbour, Guddu (16). Her family members were against the affair and had warned duo on several occasions. Reports said that both Buggi and Guddu, also tried to convince their family members to allow them to get married.

 However, the family members refused. On Saturday morning, the family members of Buggi, were shocked when they found her body hanging with the ceiling of the room. Few minutes later, Guddu was also found hanging with the ceiling of his home. Both had committed suicide. local police which sent the bodies for autopsy test claimed that unsuccessful affair seems to be motive behind the suicide. 

Meanwhile, a woman was also brutally hacked to death in Bareilly by her husband and family members. Reports said that Nanhe Singh, a resident of Kunatanda hamlet of Bhuta in Bareilly, was caught in compromising position with  her 40-year-old aunt Raj Kumari, in the wee hours of Friday. Annoyed with the affair, Raj Kumari’s husband Man Singh, along with other family members identified as Shyam Singh, Anoop Singh, brutally assaulted Raj Kumari with sticks and rods and later hacked her to death with sharp edged weapons. local police which rushed to the spot claimed to have registered a case in this regard and sent the body for post-mortem examination. Efforts were on to nab the accused who absconded soon after the murder.
