DAV, SEC IV, celebrated Teachers' Day on Thursday with immense enthusiasm and joy. The day began with a special morning assembly led by the students of Grade IX, where they paid tribute to the great teacher Dr. S Radhakrishnan. In a heartwarming tradition, the students then took on the responsibilities of the teachers, symbolizing respect and admiration for the teaching profession.
The celebration saw the presence of prominent figures, including B. S. Jaiswal as the chief guest and Brahmdeo, LMC member, as the guest of the day. The event kicked off with the lighting of the lamp and a series of performances such as Guru Vandana, poems, songs, parodies, and speeches. The Principal, Sarbendu Sekhar Kar, delivered a stirring address that further elevated the spirit of the event.
Principal Kar's soulful rendition of a bhajan stood out as a highlight, bringing depth and meaning to the gathering.
