St Joshph’s School felicitated its students who won the cultural event competition being organised by District Administration on the occasion of Republic Day. A number of schools of the city participated in the competition in which St. Joseph’s School secured the first spot. James Dcruze, representative of the School Managing Committee and Rajesh Bhadani, School’s Dance Master stated that the Patriotic Ballet was astounding and the student’s performance left the audience spellbound.
DDC Abhay Kumar Sinha, DRDA Director Kiran Bala and BDO Koderma Prabhas Kumar Dutta were the judges for the event. They were very overwhelmed with the performance of the students, said Dcruze. The students who took part in the Ballet included Shahansha Alam, Shrawan Kumar, Ankit Verma, Khalid Khan, Suresh Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Aman Toppo, Suman Kumar Singh, Kundan Kumar, Rakshak Kumar, Owes Azam, Suraj Singh, Suraj Saxena, Ehtesham Ahmad, Abhijit Kumar, Rishiwant Kumar, Sonu Kumar and Pawan Kumar Pandey.
In the school-parade and march-past, the Golden House secured the first position for which captain Sunny Pandit and vice-captains — Gulafsha Praveen and Zeyaul Haque, were presented with the floating cup at the school event on Republic Day.
