The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday appointed Dhamnagar MLA Bishnu Sethi as the Deputy Leader of the BJP Legislature Party.
This was informed by BJP State spokesperson Golak Mohapatra.
Besides, BJP MLA Mohan Charan Majhi, who represents the Keonjhar Sadar constituency, was appointed as the party’s Chief Whip in the State Assembly.
Notably, BJP’s national president Amit Shah had recently named Bhawanipatna MLA Pradipta Naik as the BJP Legislature Party Leader. Naik is the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Assembly as the party is this time the main opposition with 23 members in the 147-member House.
