Students of Sarojini Naidu Girls School (Nutan School) protested on Wednesday and raised slogans against the school management and also vandalized the school, during the protest 15 students fainted.

The students allege, 'If they come late, the school's HR manager Varsha Jha makes them clean and cut the grass.' Education department officials and Congress MLA Arif Masood also reached the spot. Witnessing the uproar increasing, HR manager Varsha Jha was removed from the school.

Varsha Jha is a retired captain from the army. She was appointed HR and estate manager by the open school just a month ago. During the protest, angry students broke Jha's name plate and trampled it with their feet. The students claimed that they want the army rules to be followed in the school. They give punishments accordingly.

School principal Malini Verma said that the students are angry with Varsha and not with other teachers. After persuasion, the students ended the protest.

The students vandalized the school. They also broke coolers and fans.

The unconscious students were taken to the hospital in MLA Arif Masood's car.

The protesting student Kusum said, "There is a madam who makes us stand outside if we reach school even a minute late. She treats everyone badly. She says don't argue with us. She harasses all the students. Sometimes even the parents are not allowed to come to the school.

The students said that if they come late to school, they make them sweep and mop the school. They make them collect the garbage. They keep our bangles and don't even return them. They threaten to give us a Transfer Certificate if we wander around.

On getting the news of the fight in the school, many parents also reached there.

Mother of student Komal said that she got a call that there is a fight going on in the school. Some teachers are beating. I immediately reached the school. When I saw it there, there was a huge crowd. My daughter's health had deteriorated. She had fainted and I immediately brought her to the hospital.
