The farmer registration process has been fixed for procurement of paddy, jowar and millet at support price in Kharif marketing year 2024-25. Farmers can register from September 19 to October 4.

Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister

He has informed that the system of farmer registration has been made easy and smooth. Farmers will be able to register from home using their own mobile. Farmers will get relief from the hardship of doing registration by standing in queues at registration centres.

Apart from the facility of registration of farmers through mobile, other arrangements have also been ensured. Free registration facility has been provided at the facility centres established in Gram Panchayat and Janpad Panchayat offices, at the facility centers established in Tehsil offices, at the registration centers run by co-operative societies and co-operative marketing institutions and also on MP Kisan App.

Paid registration facility has been provided at MP Online Kiosk, Common Service Centre Kiosk, Public Service Centre and Cyber ??Cafes run by private individuals. The Collector will issue instructions regarding receiving the fee for registration at these centres. A fee of more than Rs 50 will not be fixed for each registration. For farmer registration, it will be mandatory to properly check the land related documents and the farmer's Aadhar card and other photo identity cards and keep their record. The facility of registration of Sikmi/Bataidaar/Kotwar and Forest Leaseholder farmer will be available only at the registration centres run by the Co-operative Society and Co-operative Marketing, Cooperative Institution. Cent percent of the farmers of this category will be verified by the Revenue Department.

The payment of the produce sold by the farmer at the support price will be made on priority basis in the Aadhar linked bank account of the farmer. In case of any problem in making payment in the Aadhar linked bank account of the farmer, payment can be made in the bank account provided by the farmer in the registration. At the time of farmer registration, the farmer will have to provide information about the bank account number and IFSC code. Inactive bank accounts, joint bank accounts and Fino, Airtel, Paytm, bank accounts will not be acceptable in registration. To get better service in the registration system, it will be necessary that the farmer keeps his bank account and mobile number updated by linking it with his Aadhar number.

All the district collectors have been directed to keep the Aadhaar registration centres established at the district and tehsil level functional so that farmers can easily go there and update their mobile number and biometrics. Aadhaar facility centres operated in post offices can also be used for this work. Coordination with banks will also be necessary to link bank account with Aadhaar number. For verification of the farmer's Aadhaar linked bank account, a transaction of Re 1 will be done by Madhya Pradesh State Supply Corporation through e-procurement / JIT portal during registration itself.

It will be mandatory to get the Aadhaar number verified for registration and selling the crop. Verification can be done with the OTP received on the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar number or with a biometric device. Registration of the farmer will be possible only in the case when the name recorded in the farmer's land records account and Khasra will match with the name recorded in the Aadhaar card. In case of discrepancy in the name recorded in the land records and Aadhaar card, the registration will be verified from the tehsil office.
