Police Subedar severely injured as car turns turtle in Ratibud

A police Subedar posted in traffic was severely injured when the car turned turtle late on Wednesday night near Shakshi dhaba under Ratibud police station area in the outskirts of the city.

Additional Superintendent of Police traffic Monika Shukla told that the traffic Supriya Choudhary met with an accident on Kerwa dam road while returning home along with her family. The driver lost the control over the car due to which the car turned turtle. She was rushed to Fracture hospital in unconscious state and was operated on her broken left arm. Supriya has now regained conscious and is now responding well.

In was an accident which took place due to the driver losing control over the car. Shukla denied that the accident took place after colliding the Supriya’s car with any vehicle.

Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man died while digging soil at abandoned stone mines at Adheri under Piplani police station area on Thursday.

According to the police Ravi Kole was digging soil along with 4-5 other masons at a stone mine and while the others were digging at some height the victim went deep into a quarry. When he was digging the part on which he was standing caved in and he was buried under huge lump of soil and stones. The victim was rushed to People’s hospital and was declared dead. The labours were brought for the digging work by Mahesh Rajput who is a local building contractor.

A complaint was lodged with the Piplani police. The police have registered a case under section 304 A against Mahesh Rajput and have started further investigation.
