A district level meeting was held today on various subjects in the PDJ office room under the chairmanship of Chief District and Sessions Judge of Lohardaga Civil Court, Arvind Kumar Pandey. In which Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman, First District Judge Shri Akhilesh Kumar Tiwari, CGM Krishnakant Mishra, Dalsa Secretary Rajesh Kumar, JM First Jaya Smita Kujur, DDC Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, Public Prosecutor, DS Sadar Hospital Shambhunath Chaudhary, Jailer of Mandal Jail Subodh. Kumar, CWC members, Executive Engineer of Building Construction Department and others were present.
The meeting was called in the light of various guidelines given by the District Level Monitoring Committee, Victim Compensation Committee and the Honorable High Court. In this meeting, the immediate presence of witnesses, especially doctors and researchers, in the POCSO case and other cases was discussed. As victim compensation, it was decided by the Victim Compensation Committee to allot a compensation of Rs 38 lakh 50 thousand to 16 out of 17 victims. One case was kept pending. There was discussion about the program run by Jhalsa, Ranchi for disabled children.
