The Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) gets new vice-chancellor as Governor Ram Naik appointed two new VCs in the state-run universities, Raj Bhawan spokesman said.
According to written statement issued here on Thursday he said that Professor Vibay Kumar Pathak, VC of Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, Rajasthan would be the new VC of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, lucknow.
Prof Narendra Kumar Taneja, member Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, Indore would be the new VC of Chaudhury Charan Singh University, Meerut.
The term of both the VCs would be of three years from the date of their joining.
