Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said that his government has come up with the "Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana" to give 12 thousand rupees in a year, but in the coming 5 years we will deliver assistance of 1 lakh rupees to every household. How this assistance amount will reach your homes is my responsibility. I know that there are lakhs of families in our villages who take loans from moneylenders to run their household and fulfill their needs. But in the coming 5 years we will strengthen the system in such a way that you will not need to beg in front of anyone.

The CM said that the state government is working dedicatedly for the uplift of sisters and daughters. Now not only daughters and sisters between the age of 21 to 50 years but also daughters and sisters above the age of 18 years will be linked to this scheme. Very soon the age limit in this scheme will be reduced from 21 to 18. Soren said this in his address at the distribution of honorarium to the beneficiaries of "Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Mainiya Samman Yojana" organized at Training Ground, Khojatoli, Namkom on Wednesday.

Soren said that the state government conducted a survey on its own and identified more than 20 lakh poor families and resolved to provide housing to all of them, whereas only 4 lakh 30 thousand poor people were identified by the central government. Now in the coming time, all the identified 20 lakh people will be covered with a three-room pucca house.

The CM said that his government has made 200 units of electricity free for the people of the state. The outstanding electricity bill of the poor has also been waived, the order related to this will be issued soon.

The CM said that his government has made thousands of government appointments in the last 4 years. About 45 to 50 thousand government appointments have been made in various departments, while the work of 45 thousand government appointments is in progress. So far, 1.5 to 2 lakh people have been provided employment in the private sector. The CM said that as long as his government is in the state, the process of appointments will continue.
