Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey visited Ranchi on Saturday. Dubey visited the Piparwar area of CCL and inaugurated a 20 MW solar power plant established by Central Coalfields Limited.
This ambitious project, a significant addition to the region's renewable energy infrastructure, was dedicated to the nation by the Minister . The solar plant is expected to play a crucial role in meeting the growing energy demands of the area while underlying CCL’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices.
Dubey presided over a review meeting of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL).
During the meeting, CMD of CCL, Nilendu Kumar Singh and CMD of CMPDIL, Manoj Kumar along with the functional directors of both companies, were present. The Minister lauded the performance of CCL and expressed his confidence in the company's ability to achieve its targets. He issued necessary instructions to augment the performance of the company
The Minister met the various stakeholders and officers of CCL at Piparwar.
Before the meeting, the Minister also paid homage to the Bhagwan Birsa Munda. As part of his visit, he garlanded the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Birsa Chowk, a prominent landmark in Ranchi.
Dubey’s visit to Ranchi underscores the importance of CCL's role in the region's development and fulfilling the energy demands of the nation through sustainable mining.
