Come Sunday and the state will witness rallies by prime ministerial candidates of three political parties BJP, Samajwadi Party and AAP namely Narendra Modi, Mulayam Singh Yadav and Arvind Kejriwal in three different places of the state - and all of them are expected to be complete sell out.

Modi would address rally in lucknow, Mulayam in Allahabad and Kejriwal in Kanpur. All these rallies are important because these are expected to be the last public meetings of such magnitude before model code of conduct comes into force in the state. If for Modi this Vijay Shankhnaad rally would be the last of the series of rallies he had addressed in UP, AAP’s Kejriwal will kick off his election campaign from the rally in Kanpur.

Incidentally, BJP and Samajwadi Party too had started their rally campaign from Kanpur. All the eyes would be however on Modi’s show which is expected to be never before in lucknow. BJP leaders claim that over 15 lakh people are expected to attend the rally. ''We have hired 650 buses of the UPSRTC to bring 50,000 party supporters from the nearby districts for therally,'' said BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak. Besides buses, the party has also hired 29 pairs of trains.

"Besides the state buses, more than 5000 private buses along with other vehicles would also be used to ferry BJP supporters to the rally ground," Pathak said and added arrangement has been made to accommodate 15 lakh people.

There is euphoria for Modi’s rally across the state as party workers from Gorakhpur donated blood. Over 400 workers will donate blood by Sunday, Pathak said. "Entire  lucknow is painted in a saffron hue as the state is gripped with Modi phobia," said BJP national media in-charge Srikant Sharma. ''We have made arrangements for fooding and lodging of 2 lakh people at the rally spot while the remaining would be providedfood on their transit.

People in and around 7 kilometer area of the rally spot would be able to hear the speech through loudspeakers and can watch the entire programme through 50 lED's to be installed at different places,'' he said. BJP state president Dr laxmi Kant Bajpai said that barriers would be put at all the eight entry points to the state capital, where the security personnel would count the number of people and facilitate them to reach to the venue.

''We have put on 345 hoardings throughout the state capital besides 1500 small hoardings have been put on at other places. The party will distribute 3 lakh T shirts  and 5 lakh caps having the photos of Modi during the rally,'' he said. Samajwadi Party’s 'Desh Bachao, Desh banao' to be held at K P college ground in Allahabad that would be addressed by party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav along with other party leaders.

Similarly, AAP was leaving no stone unturned to make its rally at industrial city of Kanpur a success. Senior AAP leader and former PM lal Bahadur Shastri's grand son, Adarsh Shastri,  said AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and senior party leader Sanjay Singh would address the workers. In view of these rallies the police have thrown a security net around Kanpur, lucknow and Allahabad. An alert has been issued in view of  Modi’s rally after Indian Mujahideen (IM) terroristTahseen Akhtar alias Monu was spotted in Uttar Pradesh.
