Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the NDA Government was committed to bring a change in the working style so that Government benefits could reach the targeted audience.
Singh was in lucknow, his parliamentary constituency on Monday and held a series of meetings with the party workers.
Addressing party workers he said that the responsibility of the party is to connect with the people. “listen to their problems and try to solve them. People have reposed a great faith on the party and we will have to live up to their expectations,” he said.
“WE should be proud that we have got a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi who is forward looking and has a vision to take India to a new height,” he said.
Singh thanked the party workers for ensuring resounding victory of Ashutosh Tandon “Gopal” from lucknow east. It was your dedication that ensured victory for the party from lucknow (east),” he said.
Earlier in the day Singh was given a rousing welcome at the Chaudhry Charan Singh airport by leaders including Dr Ramapati Ram Tripathi and party’s state general secretary Virendra tiwari.
