Saraswati Chand, the elder sister of international-level athlete and sprint queen Dutee Chand, is trying to build good athletesby giving free training to children interested in sports.
She trainsthem at the Kalpatru Das Stadium under Jaraka in Jajpur district. Saraswati, like her sister Dutee, is a good athlete. She competed in track and field championships while in school. Gradually, she continued to run, earning district and State championships. She has also got a job with the Odisha Police. Now she is training about 40 local children.
