DGP to visit all districts to review and know people's problems

DGP Anurag Gupta will visit different districts to review the law and order situation in the state and to know the problems of the general public. He gave this information on Monday. During this, he will also visit the police station.

During the visit to the districts, Gupta will take information about the efforts being made to control the cases of weaker sections, crimes against women and children and cyber security as well as their pending cases. He will also review the status of drug-related cases and control over other serious crimes.

The DGP said that a public darbar will be held in every district on September 10. A roadmap has been prepared for this. Janta Darbar will be organized to eliminate the gap between the general public and the police. This will create awareness among the public and a smooth relationship between the common citizen and the police without any fear, he added.

Gupta said that all types of complaints, big and small, will be heard in the Janta Darbar. In which complaints will be heard regarding matters like missing children, wrongdoing with women, crime, illegal recovery, misbehaviour by police officer.

Action will be taken against the police station in-charge who does not register FIR and the police officers who procrastinate. DGP has issued an order regarding this. It has been said in the issued order that strict disciplinary action will be taken against the policemen who misbehave and misbehave with the general public.

Gupta said that information is being received from various sources that in many districts of Jharkhand state, the police station in-charge and other police personnel, especially the clerk, do not behave well with the general public and do not even give receipts in the police station on the complaints of the public. Due to which the victims keep wandering and they do not get proper justice.
