Centre working on 6-point plan for agriculture and farmers: Chouhan

Union Minister for Agriculture, Farmers' Welfare, and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, departed from Bokaro to Deoghar via helicopter . During a brief interaction at the Bokaro airport, he was asked by the press about the BJP’s commitment to providing "work for every hand and water for every field." In response, Minister Chouhan stated that the government is actively working on a 6-point plan for agriculture. 

 

He elaborated that this plan includes increasing agricultural production, reducing the cost of production, compensating for crop losses, ensuring fair prices for farmers' produce, promoting crop diversification, and advancing the mission of natural farming. He assured that these efforts would significantly benefit the farmers.

 

As he prepared to depart for Deoghar, All Bokaro BJP workers extended warm regards . Among those present were Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan, BJP District President Jaydev Rai, Rohit Lal Singh, Shashi Bhushan Ojha Mukul, BJP District General Secretary Sanjay Tyagi, Dilip Srivastava, Kamlesh Rai, Gaur Rajwar, Shankar Rajak, Mathur Mandal, Vinay Kishore, Manoj Singh, Vikas Kumar, State Minister of BJP Mahila Morcha Archana Singh etc .
