Amar attacks Azam again

Friday, 31 August 2018 | PNS | Lucknow

Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh on Thursday continued his attack on Samajwadi Party leader Mohammad Azam Khan, alleging that he (Khan) had a “doctorate in telling lies”.

“I am in Rampur, the native place of Azam Khan. He can take my life but spare my wife and two daughters,” the former leader of Samajwadi Party said, adding that Khan wants his “qurbani” as he was still hungry after the sacrifice during Bakra Eid.

Holding Mulayam Singh Yadav and SP president Akhilesh Yadav more responsible for the act of Azam Khan, Amar Singh said they should have taken action against such anti-national person.

“Hindu means Hindustani and when Hindutava will rise the people will swallow Azam Khan-type persons like Bengal’s  rosogulla,” he said, addressing a press conference in Rampur.

Singh said Azam Khan was responsible for the pogrom in Muzaffarnagar as he was the in-charge of that district.

Before the media interaction, a video of the statement of Azam Khan was shown to the journalists. In the video, the SP MlA from Rampur is seen making some controversial statement against Amar Singh and his family members.

Claiming that Azam Khan’s acts were always anti-national, Singh said his (Khan’s) statement terming Bharat Mata as ‘dayan’ and claiming that Kashmir was a disputed issue, were enough to show his attitude.
