Former Branch Manager, Bhawanipatna Central Cooperative Bank, Sadar Branch Dolagovinda Behera, former Supervisor, Bhawanipatna Central Cooperative Bank, Sadar Branch and at present Branch Manager, Bhawanipatna Central Cooperative Bank, Kesinga, Kalahandi Pradeep Kumar Mohanty and former Community Organiser and at present Executive Officer, NAC, Kesinga Motilal Sahu were arrested and forwarded to the court on Wednesday.
They are alleged to have misappropriated Rs 1,52,495 in connivance with others towards subsidy amount and outstanding loan amount in the name of 16 fake persons. In this connection Koraput Vigilance registered a case and investigation was on.
Similarly, on an allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Semiliguda CDPO, Snigdharani Mishra, her residential double storied building and office chamber at Semiliguda, and office chamber of her husband, Chittaranjan Mishra , working as lecturer in Similiguda College were simultaneously searched by the Vigilance, Koraput Division sleuths.
Their immovable and movable assets, including double stories buildings, homestead plots, household articles, cars, motorcycles, bank deposits etc were estimated at Rs 1,06,58,666. The search was going on.
