15999 cases disposed in Spl Lok Adalat in Garhwa

A monthly Lok Adalat and Special Lok Adalat related to land and revenue matters was organized in Garhwa on Saturday. For the disposal of cases, six benches including Nagar Untari Sub-Divisional Civil Court were constituted along with all the blocks for the execution of cases related to land and revenue matters. 

In the six benches  Santosh Anand Prasad, District and Additional Sessions Judge-I, Shivnath Tripathi, District and Additional Sessions Judge-III, Kumar Vipul, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Veena Kumari, Civil Judge Senior Division - cum- Judicial Magistrate, Shakiya Kausar, Judicial Magistrate, and Arvind Kachhap Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nagar Untari were present. One advocate each was also nominated along with the judges of all the benches. In which advocates Pravond Kumar Sahu, Nityanand  Dubey, Anita Ranjan, Sudhir Kumar Tiwari, Uttam Bharti, and Haseshwar Pandey were present.

On this occasion, the Judge of Family Court told about the importance of Lok Adalat and also informed that through Lok Adalat, by solving various types of resolvable cases, the parties can get quick justice and save their time and money.

In  monthly Lok Adalat, a total of 504 cases were disposed of and a total revenue of Rs 8,94,473.00/- was received.  In which a total of 504 cases were executed including 06 cases from the bank, 37 cases from criminal compoundable, 28 cases related to electricity department and 433 cases from Garhwa, Ranka and Nagar Untari sub-divisional officer.
Whereas in the special Lok Adalat related to land and revenue matters, a total of 15999 cases related to Additional Collector,  Deputy Collector land and Reforms , Sub-Divisional Officer, Block Circle Officers  were executed, in which a total of 98 crore 30 lakh 36 thousand 965 rupees were distributed to the beneficiaries. On this occasion, the Judge of Family Court provided  money through cheque to the dependents of the people who died in lightning by Disaster Management and under the Unnati Ka Pahiya Scheme. Cycles were also distributed among 22 students by all the respected guests.

On the occasion, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sangeeta, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Garhwa Ravi Choudhary, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Monica Prasad, Judicial Magistrate Abhinav Tripathi, Anulika Kumar, Shakiya Kausar, litigants, advocates, court staff, PLV Suryadev Choudhary, were present.
