Cold wave conditions continued to grip the State as 12 stations recorded minimum temperature below 15 degree Celsius on Sunday.
Sonepur was the coldest place with a minimum recorded temperature of 9.4 degree Celsius, followed by Phulbani 10 degree, Daringbadi 10 degree, Angul 12 degree, Jharsuguda 13.2 degree, Bhawanipatna 13.5 degree, Keonjhar 13.6 degree, Sundargarh 14.5 degree, Koraput 14.6 degree, Baripada 14.9 degree, Cuttack 15 degree and Balangir 15 degree.
Capital city Bhubaneswar registered temperature of 16.2 degree Celsius.
The Regional Office of the IMD here forecasted that minimum temperature is very likely to fall by 3 to 4 degree Celsius at many places over the districts of the State in the next 48 hours.
