In a scathing attack on Akhilesh Yadav, Bharatiya Janata Party state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said the Samajwadi Party national president was the brand ambassador of spreading lies and spreading propaganda.
“The public will expose the SP's lies again in 2024 as the Samajwadi Party will fail to win even a single seat in the next election,” the BJP state president said.
He said corruption, jungle raj and appeasement was in the DNA of the SP. He said the people had punished SP only because it had failed to live up to the expectations of the masses and the fault with the SP was that its leadership could not see beyond the family.
“The just concluded national convention of the SP is an example of this as the party has repeatedly chosen the same person as leader for the post of party’s national president despite the party losing elections under his leadership,” Chaudhary said and added that this showed that one family does not want workers from the rank and file to grow politically.
The UP BJP chief said that Dalits were the most oppressed in the SP government, and Dalits had not forgotten this even today. He said the SP had deviated from the ideology of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia.
“Among backwards, people belonging to only one caste walked away with the government facilities during the Samajwadi Party regime,” he said.
“Things have changed in the BJP regime. Youth are being recruited in a transparent manner. The double-engine government of the BJP is working on the basic mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas,” the BJP state chief said.
